This afternoon, whilst the sky remained blue and the clouds subsisted, Dad took Boris on a tour of the mountain views from Seattle. We really haven't had an opportunity to see the mountains at all because of all the bloody clouds so we had to use the opportunity while we had it. We were trying to get all of them in before the sun went down and on a tight schedule so most photos were taken out the sky window of the SUV.

That's just one thing I love about this place. We literally stayed inside two suburbs circling around the perimeters of a hill in order to feast our eyes on these beasts. It took 15 minutes tops. You can imagine, no matter where you live here you are constantly confronted with them on all sides. That is truly special. I am no outdoorsy type but I can really appreciate how that effects a person. It's pretty obvious just by comparing the psychology of this place to a place like New York or where ever.
