Australia's CSIRO has developed a T-shirt that generates guitar noises using censors.
"PEOPLE DOING STRANGE THINGS WITH ELECTRICITY"
AIM:
To bring people together from different fields who are interested in doing strange things with electricity; be you artist, engineer, musician, electrician, software developer, hermit, whatever. Regular meetings pose as an opportunity for public discussion, peer review and exploration of ideas, experiments and finished works and also to solidify and invite growth, encouragement and collaboration in a community of curious people.
TIME:
Tuesday 17th October, 2006
continuing every third Tuesday of the month 19:30 until approximately 21:00.
COST:
Dorkbot is a non-profit organization and so it is free to come and be a member of the audience or make a presentation although we welcome donations to help with the basic costs of running the event.
WHO:
Open to general public. All interested and curious parties please come along!

If you would like to present something please email dorkbotsyd@dorkbot.org.
All presentations should aim to be 20 minutes in duration. Parties are welcome to bring along whatever, the project itself or visual and audio documentation or both. Please bring as much as you can including resources e.g. Laptop, cables etc. Tell us what you are bringing beforehand so that we can accommodate you.
Submissions for the October month will be due 10th October the latest! Please email us with as much information as you can about what you wish to present! If you are unsure whether your presentation is suitable go to dorkbot.org and browse around at other people's presentations.

Level 2, 144 Cleveland St, Chippendale.
(This is the normal location though future excursions may be planned)
